The Edgi Jewelry Shoot
It was different from the landscape and nature photography I
have devoted myself to
for the
past "X" number of years. Terry Holst, jewelry designer, asked me to
do a
jewelry shoot for the new Edgi Jewelry
website. Terry was able to find a beautiful,
young model for the shoot.

With all the lighting, backgrounds, reflector, gels, etc.
loaded up in my Honda CRV, I arrived
at
the shoot and set up.
My camera of choice was the Canon 10D because of the ease of setting the white
balance,
color temperature, and parameters to produce a natural look to skin tones. I
used continuous,
daylight balanced lights. I was able to borrow a hand from Terry's sister to
hold a reflector.
We tried two backgrounds (black and charcoal gray). Terry was helpful with her
critiques on
each shot.

The model claimed that she had no experience, but I found this
hard to believe because of her
ability to find just the right pose.

Terry reluctantly allowed me to take the jewelry out so that I
could take several days to shoot
each piece in a light tent. I e-mailed her sample images everyday for her review
and critique.

So, here are some of the results from the Edgi Jewelry shoot.
Please visit www.edgijewelry.com to purchase any of this
outstanding jewelry.

Thank you,
Dennis Chamberlain
